Local Fall Activites That Are Covid-Approved!
It’s really no surprise that the fall of 2020 is shaping up to be a little different than the fall seasons of years past. Special events and traditions are either put on hold, modified, or canceled altogether. While disappointing, this can also be a good time to start new traditions with your family or take advantage of a slower life season to try something new. Even in Southeast Kansas, there are still great activities that are Covid-approved this season!
Let’s start with a list of upcoming local activities to consider:
Coffeyville
The Midland Theatre is still hosting its Outdoor Movie nights. They are scheduled for Friday, Oct 2 + Fri Oct 9th at 8pm.
Cedar Bluff Camp is hosting their Night of Fright Spook Trail on four nights this October!

All trails will be open from 7:30pm-11pm
The Spooktacular Trick or Treating event will be held in Downtown Coffeyville on October 26th from 4:30pm-6:00pm
Independence
On Thursdays, the Fall Farmer’s Market is held from 3:00-6:30 in the parking lot on Chestnut & 8th. Be sure to swing by to grab all your fall goodies from local vendors!
